Missing!
Of the nearly one thousand titles released by ECM Records since 1970, dozens have
not been released on compact disc.
The official ECM Records web site
has detailed information about most of the currently available titles.
These pages are meant to complement the official site and supply information about the
ECM titles that do not appear there.
ECM titles fall into three categories:
- Generally available. Most titles are in print from either Universal, BMG, or PolyGram.
- Exclusively from Munich. Some titles are only available from ECM in Munich. Some of these are
only on LP. The ECM Records web site has a list of these titles.
- Not available. See below.
The note: CD released by PolyGram appears when a PolyGram
version of the title exists but there is no listing on the ECM Records web site.
ECM is distributed by PolyGram in
Germany, France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and Japan.
